My Story

Atelier Sylwia is a celebration of craftsmanship, patience, and timeless elegance.

This atelier is the result of a life shaped by different cultures and a deep love for authentic handmade work. Raised in Germany and now rooted in the heart of Abruzzo, Italy, I discovered my calling in the rich and centuries-old tradition of Italian artisanship.

Every piece is entirely handcrafted by my hands in Abruzzo, using only the finest materials sourced from carefully selected Italian producers. I work exclusively with Italian wool, Italian Merino wool, Italian silk wool, and cashmere produced in Italy – preferring yarns dyed with natural pigments whenever possible. In choosing my materials, I consciously supports small local ateliers and independent Italian producers, keeping traditional craftsmanship alive.

Each bag is brought to life slowly – stitch by stitch – with unwavering attention to detail and deep respect for traditional techniques.
